Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages and goods across Raleigh metropolitan area
- Plan optimal routes using GPS navigation to ensure on-time deliveries
- Load/unload packages with care, verifying contents and documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year delivery or commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Familiarity with Raleigh area preferred
