Responsibilities
- Safely and timely delivery of packages, food, and retail goods to Portland-area destinations
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to minimize delivery times and fuel consumption
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Inspect and maintain assigned vehicle (van/motorcycle) for cleanliness and mechanical safety
- Provide exceptional customer service during all delivery interactions
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues proactively
Qualifications
- Valid Oregon driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Reliable personal vehicle or ability to use company-provided equipment
- Strong knowledge of Portland neighborhoods and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs safely
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route navigation and communication
- Customer service experience preferred
- Background check and drug screen required
