Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial locations in Phoenix and surrounding areas in a safe and timely manner.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and ensuring complete satisfaction with every delivery.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Utilize GPS and route-planning software to optimize delivery paths and manage time effectively.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, receipts, and paperwork as required by company policy.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, parking regulations, and company safety protocols at all times.
- Handle package handling with care to prevent damage during transit.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-centric attitude.
- Reliable smartphone with data access for navigation and order management.
- Basic knowledge of the Phoenix metropolitan area is highly preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
