Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, or retail goods to customers throughout Philadelphia using company vehicles
- Verify delivery details, obtain proper signatures, and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions, including resolving delivery inquiries
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness, perform daily safety checks, and report maintenance needs
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrival while adhering to traffic laws
- Collaborate with dispatch team to update delivery status and address route challenges
- Assist with loading/unloading packages and inventory management as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 2 years)
- Previous delivery or driving experience preferred
- Ability to safely navigate Philadelphia's streets and neighborhoods
- Strong customer service skills and professional communication abilities
- Physical ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery apps and GPS navigation
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Pass background check and drug screening
