Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional and long-haul routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure DOT compliance at all times
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records
- Load/unload cargo with proper securing techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and defensive driving practices
- Operate in diverse weather conditions across mountainous terrain
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with HOS regulations and electronic logging devices
- Experience with flatbed, dry van, or refrigerated trailers
- Knowledge of Albuquerque metro area and regional routes
- Strong problem-solving skills for route adjustments
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
