Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and goods throughout Philadelphia and surrounding areas
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure timely arrivals
- Verify delivery details, obtain signatures, and maintain accurate delivery records
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions and resolve delivery inquiries
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere to traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with dispatch team to adjust routes for urgent deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 2 years)
- High school diploma or equivalent; commercial driving license (CDL) preferred
- Proven experience in delivery, logistics, or transportation roles
- Strong knowledge of Philadelphia streets and navigation systems
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly and operate in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with mobile delivery apps and digital tracking systems
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
