Responsibilities
- Safely Deliver: Transport packages to residential and commercial locations across New York City and surrounding areas in a timely and efficient manner.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, ensuring a positive unboxing experience and handling any inquiries with a smile.
- Vehicle Care: Perform routine inspections of the delivery vehicle to ensure it is clean and in safe working condition.
- Route Management: Utilize GPS and navigation tools to optimize delivery routes and minimize travel time.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery logs, receipts, and paperwork required for each stop.
- Problem Solving: Handle delivery exceptions, such as incorrect addresses or missed deliveries, professionally and efficiently.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Class C Driver's License and a clean driving record (no major traffic violations within the last 3 years).
- Age: Must be at least 21 years old.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Technology: Reliable smartphone with data access for route tracking and communication.
- Availability: Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and early mornings/late nights as required.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and a professional demeanor.
