Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers in a timely manner.
- Verify delivery addresses and ensure all items are accounted for before leaving the depot.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior, adhering to all company standards.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers, resolving any delivery issues on-site.
- Utilize handheld delivery apps to update order status and log delivery information accurately.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use smartphone applications for navigation and logging.
- Reliable personal transportation to and from the depot.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
