Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and goods to designated delivery locations in the Omaha metro area.
- Observe all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure the safety of passengers, other drivers, and pedestrians.
- Interact professionally with customers, including receiving signatures, processing payments, and answering questions.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle and the company's image.
- Update delivery status using handheld devices or mobile applications in real-time.
- Handle package handling with care to ensure items arrive undamaged.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Proof of auto insurance coverage (minimum liability limits as required by state law).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for GPS navigation and order updates.
- Physical stamina to lift packages and stand for extended periods.
