Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial customers in a safe, timely, and courteous manner.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies while driving.
- Obtain signatures and ensure accurate delivery of goods at each stop.
- Inspect the delivery vehicle for cleanliness and mechanical issues before and after each shift.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and resolving any delivery issues.
- Follow designated route maps and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Handle package returns and damaged goods according to standard operating procedures.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License and a clean driving record (no DUIs in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting, carrying, and pushing packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with GPS systems.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
