Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and food items to customers within designated timeframes
- Verify delivery details and obtain customer signatures for accurate record-keeping
- Maintain clean and well-functioning vehicles through daily inspections and basic maintenance
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions and resolve delivery issues promptly
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to maximize efficiency
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or similar role
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Oakland and surrounding Bay Area streets
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills
- Reliable smartphone with GPS capabilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
