Responsibilities
- Safely transport and deliver packages and documents to designated residential and commercial addresses in Virginia Beach and surrounding areas.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe delivery vehicle at all times.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and resolving delivery issues.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues.
- Utilize handheld technology for logging deliveries and tracking inventory.
- Assist with loading and unloading cargo when necessary.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License is mandatory.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer skills for logging delivery data.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Strong commitment to customer satisfaction and punctuality.
