Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport products to residential and commercial customers.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures upon successful delivery.
- Load and unload cargo from the vehicle using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Perform routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and resolving any delivery issues.
- Utilize handheld devices or software to log deliveries, track inventory, and update the status of orders.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and DOT regulations.
Qualifications
- A valid Driver’s License (Class C) and a clean driving record (MVR).
- No professional driving experience required; we train our drivers!
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Basic computer literacy for using delivery management apps.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Reliable smartphone with data access for navigation and communication.
