What You'll Do
As a Delivery Driver for MetroHaul, you will be the face of our company. Your primary goal is to ensure our customers receive their packages safely and on time while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses in a safe, timely, and courteous manner.
- Obtain customer signatures and proof of delivery for all shipments.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle and adhere to all company appearance standards.
- Resolve any delivery issues or customer inquiries professionally on the spot.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure accident-free driving.
- Update delivery status accurately in our digital tracking system.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License: Must possess a valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years old.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to lift packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly attitude.
- Technology: Must have a reliable smartphone and be comfortable using GPS and delivery apps.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
