Responsibilities
- Package Handling: Safely load, unload, and organize packages in the delivery vehicle.
- Route Navigation: Utilize GPS and mapping software to follow efficient delivery routes.
- Customer Interaction: Deliver packages in a professional manner, ensuring excellent customer service and obtaining signatures when necessary.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in safe operating condition.
- Payment Collection: Collect payments for COD (Cash on Delivery) orders and secure cash drops.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, incidents, and mileage.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Class C Driver's License required.
- Record: Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift, carry, and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and able to work independently.
- Age: At least 21 years of age.
