As a Delivery Driver at Sacramento Express Delivery, you will be the face of our company, ensuring our customers receive their packages safely and on time. We value punctuality, professionalism, and a positive attitude above all else.
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses in the Sacramento area.
- Follow designated delivery routes and time schedules to ensure on-time performance.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers, handling package handovers with care.
- Inspect vehicles before and after shifts to ensure cleanliness and proper mechanical functioning.
- Accurately log delivery data and receipts using the company's mobile application.
- Report any delivery issues, damages, or safety concerns to the dispatch team immediately.
Qualifications
- A valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record.
- No prior delivery experience required; we will train you.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Must possess a reliable smartphone for navigation and job management.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
