Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods to customers in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any mechanical issues.
- Handle loading and unloading of cargo, ensuring proper handling of fragile items when required.
- Interact positively with customers, maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor at all times.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies strictly.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and complete necessary paperwork efficiently.
- Keep the vehicle clean and organized to ensure a pleasant driving environment.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is preferred, but not strictly required for entry-level positions.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Clean driving record with no recent major violations.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and change.
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
