Job Overview
As a Delivery Driver, you will be the face of SwiftRoute Logistics. You will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations within the Charlotte metro area. We value punctuality, professionalism, and a positive attitude.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages to designated addresses in Charlotte and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload packages efficiently, ensuring all items are handled with care and accounted for.
- Practice excellent time management to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Provide top-tier customer service by communicating professionally with clients and resolving any delivery issues.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety protocols strictly.
- Complete daily delivery logs and paperwork accurately.
Qualifications
- A valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and making change if applicable.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Access to a reliable personal vehicle for test drives (if applicable) or willingness to use company vehicles.
