Responsibilities
- Deliver packages and parcels to customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
- Assist with loading and unloading the delivery vehicle to ensure efficient operations.
- Practice defensive driving and adhere to all local traffic laws and regulations.
- Interact positively with customers, answering questions and resolving delivery issues with a smile.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle, performing daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Utilize GPS technology to navigate the most efficient routes and manage time effectively.
- Keep accurate records of deliveries and any incidents that may occur during the shift.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License (commercial license is not required for this entry-level position).
- A clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to pass a standard background check and drug screening.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for using navigation apps and communication tools.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to our delivery processes.
