Responsibilities
- Load and unload packages safely and efficiently onto delivery vehicles using hand trucks and dollies.
- Safely operate delivery vans and trucks to drop off and pick up goods along designated routes.
- Verify packages against delivery tickets to ensure accuracy and prevent errors.
- Provide excellent customer service during every delivery interaction, ensuring a professional appearance.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and digital logs accurately and on time.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies while driving.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a standard background check and drug screen.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and route planning.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Good communication skills and a friendly, customer-focused demeanor.
- Willingness to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as business needs dictate.
