Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (box trucks, reefers) within NYC metro area
- Maintain perfect delivery records and GPS tracking compliance
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and vehicle maintenance checks
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Handle high-value or temperature-sensitive shipments with care
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and NYC traffic laws
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Proficient with GPS technology and electronic logging devices
- NYC commercial driving permit preferred
- Strong knowledge of NYC boroughs and traffic patterns
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
