Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, and merchandise to customers within the New Orleans metropolitan area
- Operate company vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Manage delivery routes effectively using GPS technology to ensure timely arrivals
- Assist with loading/unloading shipments and maintaining vehicle cleanliness
- Document delivery details and report any issues or customer feedback promptly
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery schedules
Qualifications
- Valid Louisiana driver's license with clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Basic navigation skills and familiarity with New Orleans neighborhoods
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Physical ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds
- Reliable transportation to and from the starting depot
