Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses throughout Long Beach
- Load/unload delivery vehicles with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Assist with warehouse operations when not on delivery routes
Qualifications
- No prior delivery experience required - we provide comprehensive training!
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to read maps and navigate efficiently using GPS
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds
- Reliable transportation to/from work location
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery apps
- Must pass background check and drug screening
