Responsibilities
- Safely deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses within the Illinois region.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers at every delivery stop.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures upon completion of each route.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle and company equipment.
- Load and unload cargo carefully to prevent damage or loss.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class C) required; CDL not required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and push packages weighing up to 70 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Reliable access to personal transportation to and from the depot.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed.
