Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to customers' doorsteps in a timely manner.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies, especially during night operations.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers, including accepting packages and obtaining signatures.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle cleanliness and mechanical safety.
- Use handheld devices to update delivery status and log hours accurately.
- Load and unload packages efficiently, ensuring proper handling of fragile items.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C or higher).
- Clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Ability to work night shifts (6:00 PM - 2:00 AM).
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and logging.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
