Responsibilities
- Safe & Efficient Deliveries: Transport packages to residential and commercial addresses throughout the Chicago metro area during night shifts.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure your vehicle is in peak operating condition.
- Customer Interaction: Provide friendly, professional, and courteous service to every customer you meet.
- Accuracy: Verify delivery addresses, obtain signatures, and handle returns or damaged goods according to company protocol.
- Technology Use: Utilize handheld delivery devices and mobile apps to track routes and manage orders efficiently.
- Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: A valid Class C driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
- Night Shift Availability: Must be available to work flexible night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50+ lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to read maps and use GPS navigation systems.
- Reliability: A proven track record of punctuality and dependability.
- Background Check: Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
