Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages to residential and commercial destinations within the Charlotte metro area.
- Interact professionally with customers, ensuring packages are delivered with care and accuracy.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety protocols.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
- Utilize handheld devices for navigation and digital signature capture.
- Manage time efficiently to ensure all routes are completed within the shift window.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations within the last 3 years).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong customer service skills and a professional attitude.
- Reliable access to a smartphone for GPS and communication.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
