Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
- Inspect the delivery vehicle before and after each shift to ensure safety and proper maintenance.
- Load and unload packages from the delivery truck efficiently.
- Obey all traffic laws and company driving policies at all times.
- Interact professionally with customers, handling inquiries and complaints with a smile.
- Accurately record delivery information and update tracking systems in real-time.
- Keep the delivery van clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major violations).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of the New York City area, including Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, and Bronx.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Physically fit and able to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Reliable cell phone with data access for GPS navigation.
- Previous experience in delivery or logistics is a plus but not required.
