Responsibilities
- Deliver goods to residential and commercial customers in a safe, timely, and courteous manner.
- Inspect the delivery vehicle prior to and after each route to ensure it is clean and in good working order.
- Load and unload packages using appropriate equipment (dolly, hand truck, etc.) to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Interact professionally with customers, handle any complaints with a positive attitude, and ensure proper signatures.
- Verify all delivery information against the manifest to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and digital paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class B or CDL Class C) with a clean driving record (no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as business needs dictate.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to plan efficient routes.
- Basic computer proficiency for logging deliveries and checking emails.
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
- Physical ability to lift boxes weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
