As a Delivery Driver at MetroLink Express, you will serve as the face of our brand, ensuring our customers receive their packages safely and on time. We value our drivers and provide a supportive work environment with comprehensive benefits.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company vehicle to deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses throughout Minneapolis and the Greater Twin Cities area.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
- Interact professionally with customers, maintaining a friendly, courteous, and helpful demeanor at every stop.
- Accurately handle cash, credit card payments, and digital transactions.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean, organized, and well-maintained.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate unfamiliar routes using GPS technology.
- Excellent communication skills and a proven customer-first attitude.
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in logistics or delivery is a plus but not required.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
