Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages to residential and commercial addresses in Milwaukee and the surrounding metro area.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures or proof of delivery.
- Load and unload cargo carefully, ensuring packages are handled with care.
- Inspect the delivery vehicle before and after routes to ensure it is clean and in good working condition.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers regarding delays or issues.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and mileage using handheld devices.
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- A valid Class C Driver’s License (CDL not required for this position).
- A clean driving record with no recent DUIs or reckless driving violations.
- The ability to lift, carry, and push packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Basic computer and smartphone literacy for navigation and logging.
- Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and varying schedules.
- Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
