Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages to residential and commercial destinations throughout Miami and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Verify delivery accuracy and obtain electronic or physical signatures from recipients.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while on the road.
- Provide exceptional customer service by being polite, professional, and helpful during every stop.
- Utilize handheld devices to track routes, update delivery status, and communicate with dispatch.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C) with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 7 years).
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and a drug screen.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation apps and digital paperwork.
- Physically capable of lifting packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Reliable access to a personal vehicle (if not using company fleet).
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
