Responsibilities
- Safely and timely delivery of packages, food, or merchandise to residential and commercial locations across Miami-Dade County
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS navigation to maximize efficiency and minimize fuel consumption
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure operational safety
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and handle inquiries professionally
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues and update delivery status in real-time
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and local regulations while operating company vehicles
Qualifications
- Valid Florida Driver's License with clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience, preferably in delivery or logistics
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong knowledge of Miami metropolitan area and surrounding neighborhoods
- Excellent time management skills with ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Proficiency with smartphone apps and GPS navigation systems
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications a plus
- Pass background check and drug screening as required by company policy
