Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently to ensure timely and accurate delivery of parcels and freight.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain compliance with safety standards.
- Handle customer interactions with professionalism, resolving inquiries and maintaining a positive brand image.
- Utilize handheld devices for navigation, route optimization, and digital proof of delivery.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques to prevent damage and injury.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and local regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency with smartphone applications.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
