Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations in a timely manner.
- Ensure the accuracy of all delivery orders, including checking packages for damage before and after transit.
- Interact professionally with customers, handling delivery confirmations and managing returns or exchanges efficiently.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections, maintenance checks, and keep the truck clean and organized.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Load and unload merchandise using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent commercial driver's permit.
- A clean driving record with no recent major violations (e.g., DUI, reckless driving).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to navigate unfamiliar routes efficiently.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety procedures.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
