Responsibilities
- Operate commercial delivery vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling, organization, and security of packages.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures for receipt of goods.
- Maintain accurate delivery records, logbooks, and daily paperwork.
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any delivery issues professionally.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent commercial driver's permit.
- Clean driving record with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical stamina to lift packages and stand for extended periods.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and delivery apps.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
