Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, and merchandise to residential and commercial locations across Louisville metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures for proof of delivery
- Inspect and maintain assigned vehicle (provided by company) including fuel levels, cleanliness, and minor maintenance checks
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure timely arrival and fuel efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, including handling special requests and resolving issues
- Collaborate with dispatch team to communicate delivery status and address route challenges
- Assist with loading/unloading operations and inventory management at warehouse facility
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience or equivalent commercial driving background
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of Louisville metro area and surrounding communities
- Excellent time management skills with ability to meet tight delivery windows
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and communication apps
- Pass background check and drug screening (company-mandated requirements)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
