Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses within Long Beach and surrounding areas.
- Inspect the delivery vehicle daily to ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance before and after shifts.
- Practice safe driving habits at all times, adhering strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers to ensure satisfaction and resolve any delivery issues.
- Log delivery information accurately into the company's digital tracking system.
- Assist in loading and unloading cargo, ensuring proper handling of fragile items.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C California Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic proficiency with mobile devices and GPS navigation apps.
- Strong customer service skills and a professional appearance.
- Reliable transportation to and from the local depot.
