Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, and supplies to residential and commercial destinations throughout Long Beach
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure timely arrivals and fuel efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service through friendly interactions and order accuracy
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness, safety, and perform routine pre/post-trip inspections
- Utilize our mobile app to track deliveries, manage schedules, and communicate with dispatch
- Handle cash transactions and payment processing for orders requiring payment upon delivery
- Report delivery issues, customer feedback, and maintenance needs promptly
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience with commercial vehicle operation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of Long Beach neighborhoods and major traffic patterns
- Excellent time management skills and punctuality orientation
- Basic smartphone proficiency for app navigation and communication
- Pass background check and drug screening (company policy)
- Must be 21+ years old with reliable personal vehicle (if using personal vehicle)
