Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages and food orders to customers within Long Beach metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures upon completion
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to ensure timely deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions and resolve delivery issues
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team to update delivery status and communicate delays
Qualifications
- Valid California Driver's License with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Smartphone proficiency for GPS navigation and delivery apps
- Strong time-management and organizational skills
- Excellent customer communication abilities
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle troubleshooting
