Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages to designated residential and commercial addresses in the Kansas City metro area.
- Adhere to strict delivery timelines and ensure 100% on-time delivery rates.
- Obtain proper signatures and verify delivery details to ensure accuracy.
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate professionally with clients.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance at all times.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or road hazards immediately to fleet management.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Reliable smartphone with data connectivity for GPS navigation and dispatch updates.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate unfamiliar routes effectively.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Willingness to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
