Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport food packages and goods across NYC boroughs
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to maximize efficiency
- Maintain excellent customer service through professional communication
- Inspect vehicles before/after shifts to ensure operational safety
- Accurately process payments and manage delivery documentation
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid New York State driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of NYC streets and boroughs
- Smartphone proficiency for delivery apps and GPS
- Reliable smartphone with constant data access
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
- Basic math skills for cash handling
