Responsibilities
- Safe & Timely Delivery: Transport packages to customers in a safe, timely, and courteous manner, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety, cleanliness, and proper functionality.
- Route Navigation: Utilize advanced GPS and mapping software to plan the most efficient delivery routes and manage time effectively.
- Customer Interaction: Interact professionally with customers, handle questions or complaints with a positive attitude, and manage package handling with care.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery logs, receipts, and any required paperwork in a timely manner.
- Adherence to Safety: Strictly follow all traffic laws, company safety protocols, and regulatory requirements at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid License: Must possess a valid Driver's License (Class C) and a clean driving record.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years of age to operate our delivery vehicles.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Smartphone Proficiency: Comfortable using a smartphone for navigation, logging, and communication apps.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to work weekends, nights, or holidays as business needs dictate.
