Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to residential and commercial locations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload merchandise accurately and efficiently using hand trucks or dollies.
- Obey all traffic laws and maintain a clean driving record at all times.
- Interact professionally with customers and resolve any delivery issues or complaints.
- Update delivery status and maintain accurate paperwork and digital logs.
- Adhere to company safety policies and procedures strictly.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically fit to lift packages (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of the Oakland area and general traffic patterns.
- Reliable transportation to the company depot.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
