Responsibilities
- Safely Deliver Goods: Transport packages and merchandise to residential and commercial addresses along assigned routes in a timely and efficient manner.
- Customer Interaction: Provide exceptional customer service by handling packages with care and maintaining a professional demeanor with clients.
- Route Management: Follow GPS directions and adhere to delivery schedules to ensure 100% on-time performance.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is clean, fueled, and in safe operating condition.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery logs, receipts, and delivery confirmation paperwork.
- Problem Solving: Handle unexpected issues, such as wrong addresses or missing packages, with a solution-oriented approach.
Qualifications
- Driver's License: Valid Class C Driver's License required.
- Clean Record: Must have a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years old.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to read maps or use GPS devices.
- Availability: Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and early morning shifts as needed.
