Responsibilities
- Safe Transport: Deliver packages to customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
- Customer Service: Interact with customers warmly, ensuring satisfaction and handling questions with a positive attitude.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform basic vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Route Planning: Utilize provided GPS systems to plan the most efficient routes to maximize delivery times.
- Package Handling: Ensure all items are loaded securely and handled with care to prevent damage.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of deliveries and receipts as required by company policy.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Class C Driver’s License required; CDL preferred but not mandatory for entry-level.
- Experience: No prior driving experience required; training provided.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and ability to read and write in English.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Vehicle: Access to a reliable vehicle (or willingness to use company fleet).
