Responsibilities
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently to ensure timely deliveries.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are secure and undamaged during transit.
- Verify and collect payments or signatures for deliveries as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with clients and stakeholders.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Complete daily logs and reports accurately.
Qualifications
- A valid driver's license (Class C or CDL preferred but not mandatory for entry-level).
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and mechanical issues.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Reliable personal transportation to and from the depot.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
