Responsibilities
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently in all weather conditions.
- Load and unload packages securely, ensuring item integrity throughout the transit process.
- Verify and record delivery information accurately, including addresses and signatures.
- Provide excellent customer service and handle package inquiries professionally.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety protocols strictly at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent.
- Clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Strong knowledge of Louisville, KY roadways, traffic patterns, and local geography.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Proficient in using handheld scanning devices and GPS navigation systems.
