Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to residential and commercial addresses.
- Load and unload merchandise from delivery trucks using appropriate equipment (pallet jacks, dollies).
- Observe all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Provide excellent customer service by maintaining a professional demeanor and handling package handling inquiries.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections, check fluid levels, and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Manage inventory and verify accuracy of deliveries using handheld scanners.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50-70 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong communication skills and ability to read maps and GPS systems.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shift lengths.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Previous experience in logistics, delivery, or warehouse operations is preferred but not required.
