Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport products to residential and commercial locations.
- Load and unload merchandise, ensuring proper handling and security of goods.
- Verify delivery contents against delivery tickets and obtain customer signatures.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols to ensure accident-free driving.
- Manage time effectively to meet daily delivery targets and routes.
- Provide excellent customer service, resolving any delivery issues professionally.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of driving experience preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50-100 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong knowledge of local streets, highways, and traffic patterns in Illinois.
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging devices (ELD) and scanning.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically fit and capable of standing and walking for extended periods.
